Michael Hossler writes: What a great time I had during the past three days [Sept. 29, 30 & Oct. 1st ] attending the Durango Songwriters Expo. I heard so much great music and phenomenal singers. Oh my God, there is SO much talent out there. Very humbling!
Made new friends, learned a ton, and feel like a switch that has been turned off for years was switched back on. I actually think I may have discovered where I am going in the next chapter of my life and I can’t wait to get started.
While waiting for the concert at the end of the weekend last night I wrote a song. Out of nowhere! I hope this energy stays with me.
The concert was amazing. Wow! Just wow! [In Concert: Al Anderson (NRBQ, Big Yellow Dog Publishing), Ryan Innes (recording artist/songwriter), Kree Harrison (American Idol), Sarah West (singer/songwriter) in a Songwriter’s Round set-up.]
I feel so blessed to have been allowed to be in the company of these wonderful, talented people. So kind and encouraging.
Thank you Barb [Dye], Jim [Attebery], Vince [West], Aaron [English], and everyone else that made this weekend possible and special.
