Jordan Ash stepped before an audience when his Dad Donnie Lee Ash signed him up to sing in a talent show in Golden, Colorado at Buffalo Bill Days Festival, in the early ’90s singing “Hound Dog”. Then in 2000 he was given the opportunity to perform the song “One Moment in Time” for the graduating class of Golden High School. Jordan has also performed for shows such as: Six Flags Elitch Gardens main stage in “Broadway Rhythm”; Casa Bonita, Denver’s leading theme restaurant, in their music review shows; and UPN 20 Television Contest — Gimme The Mic Season 1; and represented Las Vegas in the Texaco Country Showdown State Finals.

Some of Jordan’s inspiring mentors while growing up include: John Klug, High School theater teacher; Tammy Duris, music teacher; Diane Bergeron, 6th grade teacher, and Mrs. Movromotis – all teachers who really appreciated Jeremiah Jordan Ash’s talent and guided him to excel as a person and in music. Influences also include Kersti Bryan, Levi Kreis, Hank Williams, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, and Garth Brooks.

“I do this because having a role in creating memorable moments in others’ lives means a lot to me. Be it writing a song that brings a couple together for their first dance, the song a couple chooses for their wedding, the song someone chooses to sing at their graduation to sum up their entire experience and more. Music has the power to move us in a way nothing else can. It would mean a lot to me to have the chance to do this on a mainstream level, reaching a broad audience, and creating something memorable on stage and in every song”.

Jordan Ash won a writing contest when in 4th grade attending Pleasant View Elementary. He recalled it was the school that made him realize he actually could excel in school.

“I believe we all have a talent. It’s up to us to discover what that is and how to turn it into something others can benefit from. Turn your greatest quality and what you enjoy the most into something that will financially carry you. As long as you have the basic essentials, the rest can really be attracted to you– the right people, right conditions, right events, and the knowledge you need to sustain it and keep it growing. Keep changing your approach until it happens. And be open to how your desired intention happens.
