From COMBO Board member and health care provider Annette Cannon (on Facebook 12/16/21): Going into the week before Christmas. Some of my thoughts… “A very stressful time for many. For some its full of busy time and anxiety from not being able to get everything done and for others it’s a lonely time and feeling like no one has time for them.
Still others worry about money and how will they afford what they need, while others spend, and spend, and still don’t feel its enough. Some worry about a family members health, their own health or may be remembering loved ones that have passed. Some find it a happy time to be with family, others it’s a hard time to be with family, and yet others have no family or wonder why their family doesn’t want to be with them.
Some worry about their children or their relationships, and others about their career and the future. Some are more concerned with the right now of where to live, food on the table, or finding work. To some, the things I’ve mentioned are part of everyday experiences that people somehow manage to deal with in their lives.
However, please keep in mind that others may have a mental health issue present, on top of it all, that is further hindering their ability to manage these things the way you do.
Reach out to others when you can and above all. . .
Love One Another.
Be mindful and kind.” ac
