You are invited to apply to compete in the 2022 Throw Down Show Down Battle of the Bands September 17, 2022, at Infinity Park! This year we are excited to host this competition that will include the opportunity to showcase your music to your fans and many other music lovers from around the region. First place winner get $5,000; 2nd place – $3,000; 3rd place – $1,500; and Fan Favorite – $500!

Who Can Apply
If you have NOT won a previous Throw Down Show Down competition hosted by the Infinity Park Event Center – you can apply.

You must commit to be onsite from 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm on the event day (September 17). We will be setting up, completing sound checks and preparing for fans to arrive with the gates opening at 5 pm, and the competition beginning at 6 pm.

Bands are required to share a recent link to a video performance of the group on the application.

A list of booked shows for 2022 is also encouraged in the initial application.

Contestants cannot be affiliated with the City of Glendale or Infinity Park.

Timeline & Fan Engagement

● April 1 – 30, 2022 – Band Applications Submitted
● May 5 – 25, 2022 – Infinity Park Committee Judging
● May 31, 2022 – Top 12 Bands Notified
● July 1 – 15, 2022 – Online Fan Voting
● July 18, 2022 – Six Finalists For The Competition Are Notified
● July 20 – August 10, 2022 – Infinity Park video team will be gathering video for promo packages for promotion of the competition and bands to share.
● August 1 – September 17, 2022 – PR and Promotion of the Event by Infinity Park
● September 17, 2022 – TDSD event at Infinity Park

How To Help Your Chances!
Engage your fan base by encouraging them to help you make the finals by voting in July. One vote per person per day will be accepted on the online voting platform.

Ask fans to attend the TDSD event at Infinity Park. It’s a free community event with an outdoor festival atmosphere! Food and drinks for fans will be available for purchase at the event.

* Fans in attendance will vote for their favorite band through QR code scanning technology.
With six bands in the final competition the odds of winning are high!
