Photo: Chris | How doin’!? What’s up, guys? I obviously have not been on social media much during my cancer battle. I do appreciate from the bottom of my heart all of the people that have have checked in on me or taken the time to text, call, send smoke signals and everything else. I am a firm believer that the improvements I have made are from all of the positive energy and prayers from everyone. Thank you so much!
So to give you the update, I have completed 6 rounds of chemo, Docetaxel specifically for those that know about cancer. There were some delays in treatment as my imune system has been jacked and I have had a couple of trips to the ER for various complications but I finally made it through!
Recently I have had to get injections to boost my bone marrow into producing more white blood cells and I am scheduled for another procedure this week from some other wicked awesome complications. LOL.
I am on two different hormone treatments, Erleada and Orogovix and that appears to have made a major change in my over all PSA levels. So that is all positive! My bones have not shown as great with mixed results. Some have slighty improved, some are the same, and a small handful are worse.
To combat the cancer in my spine, we are going to start radiation sooner than later. I was supposed to meet with radiology tomorrow but that got delayed a week. Anyway, that is where I am at and I just wanted to thank you all again for all of the support and encouragement! I love you guys and will keep you updated from time to time.
Oh! I almost forgot, my hair is kind of growing back and is white but you know I will be going back to that Black Number 1 as soon as I’m ready to rock again!
