The Second semi-final round will be held Oct 16th at Nissi’s as more bands and solo/duo acts will compete to represent CBS at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis next year. The first semi-final round of the CBS Blues Challenge was held at The Venue Sept 25th and it featured a great selection of local Blues talent. The judges chose two bands, The Blue Shoes and Deborah Stafford & The Night Stalkers, and two solo/duo acts, Scott “Shack” Hackler and Mike Hay to move on the Finals. Congratulations to all and thank you for sharing your talent with the Colorado Blues Society. Finals will be November 13th at Dazzle at Baur’s. Join us to cheer for your favorite band, your entry fee will help these musicians to pay for their Memphis trip!
