CCB will be playing Tulagi (formerly Boulder Roots Music Fest) Saturday, Aug. 29 in downtown Boulder, CO – and we want you to be there! This event transforms downtown Boulder for four days – artists across 20+ venues, live music spilling into the streets, and a community that keeps getting stronger. Boulder Roots is a celebration of creativity, culture, and connection, bringing together everything from indie and bluegrass to hip hop, funk, and soul across the sounds that make Colorado’s music scene so unique. Year one brought 170+ bands to Pearl Street. 2026 is bringing over 800 artists.
Cass: I’ve been sitting on this song for a couple of months, because I wanted to release it at exactly the right moment. After all, it’s a song about my 2-year journey through the dark night of the soul and my eventual emergence. Obviously, this wasn’t the easiest subject to dig into metaphorically. It’s a beautiful and artistically groovin’ song and is the perfect microcosm for the process of remembering, dissolving, rebuilding and above all traveling your own road. The Golden Line separating the lanes has become my inner symbol for trusting the process. HUGE shout-out to co-writer and producer Taylor Scott and producer Dave Beegle, two Colorado legends, for making this tune sooo right AND sooo different from anything we’ve ever done.
