From Jerry Roys on Faceook, 6/19/18: Need a roofer? Call a supply house. They know roofers who have been in the area for years. I have been with ABC for years, but I also buy from American Roofing Supply. Don’t give any money up front. Usually a roofer will ask for material costs, which is normal. Either pay for the material yourself, or pay for it once it’s on your roof. It should take no longer than 1-3 days (depending on job size) to complete your roof. Ask for references and what supply house they use. You have a year to get the job done. Shop around – don’ jump at the first person who knocks on your door. Pay them when the job is completed, not before. Buyer beware.
