Hey everyone – This letter is a little different because farming is pretty personal to my family history. Here’s a little background on Farm Rescue . . . Families make up 98% of the total farms and produce 85% of the food in the US. Thus, we all are very dependent on the success of the U.S. Family Farm, the backbone of our heritage.
When farmers have a health or personal crisis, Farm Rescue steps in with late model John Deere equipment and well-trained volunteers to do the planting, harvesting, haying or hauling hay/grain – helping the family get through the season so they can recover and maintain their farm long term. They have served 900+ farm families and can report that 97% of these families are still farming 3 years later.
You might have guessed…my husband, Vane, is super involved as a volunteer at Farm Rescue. He has helped harvest multiple farms over the past few years.
Where will the Benefit be held?
Located in the heart of Lower Downtown Denver, Denver Orchid offers patrons a unique experience with a variety of thoughtfully curated events that combine food and music in a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment. The venue owners have partnered with some of the music industry’s best and brightest to create a space that is designed and tailored for a positive experience for both musicians and patrons.
