Apply now to be a part of the award-winning Al Johnson Performing Songwriter Contest, which encourages the growth of the art of independent performing songwriters in the genres of Americana, Blues, Celtic, Country, Folk, Rock, Pop, Rap, Jazz, Bluegrass, etc. Judging is based on originality, lyrics, melody, harmonic structure along with other song-craft elements.
Ten finalists are selected and invited to perform in the live finals on the Singer Songwriter Stage at Wildflower! on May 18, 2024, and receive lodging for 2 nights, festival passes, plus the opportunity to win a grand prize package valued over $2,000.
