Sticking to the Business of Music here: The kidnapping, rape, and murders of hundreds of people at a music festival and beyond in Israel is absolutely abhorrent. People should be able to attend a music event without worrying about such a terrible thing happening to them. We already saw that in several instances of militants thinking that attacking a music event is calling attention to their cause. To me, this is the same as attacking any house of worship, school, movie theater, and other “safe spaces.” We need to strongly condemn the actions of those who perpetrated this “9/11″ event on Israelis and, to my understanding, many Americans as well (as of this writing, 28 Americans have been confirmed killed).

Praying for our former member Julie Geller in the midst of the Israeli / Hamas war. She moved to Israel for a job opportunity. Julie ran the music support group Setting the Stage in Denver, and still has band members and family here. Julie sent an report: read it in Thoughts and Prayers.
