We’re off to the Durango Songwriters Expo at the Broomfield Omni Interlocken Hotel & Resort this weekend! Thursday through Saturday! What a blast! Music professionals from several areas will be mentoring songwriters from all over the country and lots from Colorado. Seminars, one-on-one sessions, critiquing from publishers, music supervisors, and record company people will help you with your songwriting! Showcases and open mics finish out the days’ activities. And, of course, the opportunity to make new friends of like mind are first and foremost. Day passes are available if you can’t attend all three days. Just pop on out and sign up! Look for the COMBO booth, usually right next door to the DSE registration desk (not the hotel registration desk!)
.
The COMBO Songwriters Showcase will be held Monday, November 16th at Bar 404 in Denver. If you entered our Songwriting Contest and you’d like to perform, please contact Barb at info @ coloradomusic.org No bands. Tracks accepted. Barb will get back to you.

Instant Movie Reiview by Amy Duchow: Last night I had the pleasure of seeing the “Phil Collins Story.” It was fabulous and, if it comes to a city near you, don’t miss it! The Band is Phenomenal! It was a bit jarring to realize, that I’m actually old & the music of my life is all now retrospectives and tributes. But we persevere. #philcollins #thephilcollinsstory #buster #goodmusic
