We had such a good time at our Grammy Watching Party last Sunday! We held it at Odde’s in their Speakeasy back room with a great sound system and a big screen projection television! The tv people were life-size so we took some photos with them! We want to congratulate all the winners and the nominees because, out of the thousands of entries, the nominees were winners, too! It was a well-produced show and the Memorial Segment is a stark reminder that so many of our musicians and their helpers are aging and saying “Bye” even though we don’t want them to leave. [Toby Keith was not included as he died the day after the Grammys.]

Due to circumstances beyond our control (illness, moving, and job changes), four of our board members have had to either resign or take leaves-of-absence recently. If you would like to serve on the board, we’d love to hear from you. You will need to have lots of experience in the music industry, be willing to spend at least 2 hours a month for the board meetings and, preferably, be able to attend the general meetings and other events such as the Colorado Guitar Show, Youth on Record Block Party, maybe help out at school “Career Days”, and more.
