Last chance to RSVP for COMBO’s Holiday Dinner at The Aquarium Restaurant this Sunday! We have to turn in our final total by 7:00 p.m. tonight! See details under “Events”! | Looking for a good, old-fashioned holiday movie that the family can watch – or anyone who loves “warm fuzzies”? Try Holiday Inn (instead of White Christmas) as it was the original movie that the song “White Christmas” appeared in. Fabulous songs and dancing by Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire and will leave you with sweet dreams!

So another COMBO member and I questioned the 138 degree temperature reported at the Taylor Swift concert in Brazil that killed one of the attendees. An article just appeared on the net addressing this. You’ll find it below and in “Interesting Bits” on our website. It says the highest that a human can survive is 122 – which happened a lot in Arizona this past summer. I don’t like it at all when I see bands having to perform in the hot afternoon sun at fairs and festivals during the summer. Read the article to see how you might save yourself from hospitalization or even death.

Congratulations to singer/songwriter/musician Jason Mraz for coming in second on Dancing With The Stars! He obviously knew nothing about ballroom dancing when he started but when the finale came, he would have rivaled Fred Astaire! It was hard to tell the amateur from the pro (dancer). Jason says he will incorporate some dancing into his music concerts from now on! (And speaking of… did you know that the last day of this year is Waltz Day? 123123… Ha, ha!)

The trial of Aurora EMTs Jeremy Cooper and Peter Cichuniec, who administered the Ketamine that allegedly killed Elijah McClain, continues at the Adams County Courthouse. Elijah, a young violinist who was just walking down the street and who had committed no crime, died a few days later after being confronted by police.
