Sorry to hear of the passing of Rob Sandusky, lead singer for Dr. Swift. More from Brother Rob under “In Memoriam”. Also so sad to hear about Broadway’s closing of ‘The Phantom of the Opera’. But it will be back – we just don’t know when. The good news is that 16 year old bass clarinet player Ralph Yarl is recovering from being shot twice. And we have a new venue, Denver Orchid, who’s helping Cass Elliott run a benefit for Farmer Families. Go pitch in! Looming on the horizon is the re-opening of Casa Bonita! May not have been on the list of the top Mexican restaurants food-wise (they’ve promised to fix that) but it sure is a fun place to go, especially with the cliff divers and the live Mariachi bands!
