Good for the Vandoliers band in pointing out how stupid Tennessee’s lawmakers are for banning “drag” in “public places”! Trying hard to stay out of politics here but I think our legislators have a lot more important things to do than waste time and money on making such stupid rules. People have been cross-dressing for thousands of years. What next? Ban Shakespeare? Or “Mrs. Doubtfire”, “Tootsie”, “Victor, Victoria”, “Some Like it Hot”, or (god forbid) Tom Hanks? (Back in Shakespeare’s day, women were not allowed to be on-stage so the guys HAD to play the women’s roles). (“Tootsie”, BTW, had a lot to say about Women’s Rights and sexual harassment and nothing about how traumatic dressing in drag is for a person or their children).
