Updates on Elijah McClain, Meeting Video, Color Coded Music and Vintage Voltage Expos events: We now have an up-date on the Elijah McClain murder case. Read it under “News”. We also had a member ask about the meeting on Monday night regarding Booking and Talent Buying for corporate and festival events. If you are a dues-paying member of COMBO, the video is posted and you can now go in and watch it. Again, we had no sooner posted last week’s newsletter when word came of the passing of the uniquely awesome singer/songwriter/musician David Crosby. He was known for his amazing ear for harmonies and his beautiful music which will not soon be forgotten. “Movie Night With Barb” had several COMBO members go see the documentary “David Crosby: Remember My Name” back in August 2019. Very interesting and informative. So glad we saw it. Rest in peace – and paradise, David. We will miss you but we’ll remember you every time we hear one of your songs.

Warning Signs of Suicide – People giving away their possessions, talk of “leaving this life”, obvious depression, being very quiet/not talkative (like usual) – may be time to call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 or call the old numbers at 800-273-TALK or 800-273-8255 for English and 888-628-9454 for Spanish. Learn the signs of someone who may be thinking about committing suicide. Better days will come – you just need to wait and to have patience. Go for a walk in the sunshine – it will improve your outlook on life.
