Another week. Another rapper needlessly murdered. And our music community mourns again the senseless loss of life – that of a father, a son, an uncle, a lover. I’d like to get political but I won’t. Please, people, start using “common” sense. You know how to start – diffuse “anger”, don’t make weapons easy to access, and encourage your young people to get honest hard-working jobs, even if it means working at McD’s. It is an honorable job, teaches work ethic and business skills, and pays a salary. And get them involved in sports or music. Of course, we’d prefer music – it’s non-violent! RIP, PnB Rock.
