BEWARE! Several of us have received “invitations” to a “very special event” put on by friends at the Punch Bowl. Don’t open them, nor sign in as the invite asks for private information. We’ve contacted our friends via other means and they have said that they are SPAM and PHISHING for information. Ignore the invite.

Although not a musician, I want to mention the death of Gloria Steinem, 92, American feminist and journalist (New York, Ms.), co-founder of the Women’s Media Center. Ms. Steinem called attention to a lot of discrimination toward women and some things got better. Still working on it but she had a lot of guts to speak up for women everywhere. That would include female musicians and women in music industry jobs!
