Sending a BIG THANK YOU to Morgan & Chuck for donating generously to our organization at the Planet Bluegrass Folks Fest a couple of weeks ago! So nice of you, and nice to meet you! Also donating was a lady who wished to remain anonymous and a couple more people who helped out! We SO appreciate your support! We gained three new members – Brian Nordmann, Jeff Power, and John Schutt (Little Jonny Swell Music .com) AND – lest we not recognize them, we’d like to thank our members who renewed their memberships recently. All of your contributions will keep us going for a few more months! Remember: COMBO is a not-for-profit organization. All of our board members and volunteers are just that – volunteers! We want to thank them for donating their time and efforts as well.

Sorry to hear dear friend Carla Jordan (Ziggie’s) and J.C. Cummings were involved in an auto accident in Fargo, ND while on a trip this past week. Both are o.k. but their vehicle sustained some damage. Wishing them a much nicer rest-of-the-trip!
.
This past week was one of those where we lost so many of our most-loved entertainers. Tons of tributes and memories galore – those who have provided us with laughs, smiles, memories, and tears. All mattered to us and I’ll leave it with Dolly’s words: “I (we) will always love you.” Never forget.
.
Be sure to read the article on Wild Concerto and watch the video about how it was written and recorded by Stuart Copeland. Presented on CBS’s 60 Minutes, it is an outstanding achievement in sound recording of wild animals mixed with orchestral instruments.
