So many great music related events taking place this weekend! What we have listed are fun things to do mostly in the Front Range area but we know that there are also events going on in Grand Junction, Montrose, Durango, Glenwood Springs and more. Check out the Calendar below. Get out, get some direct Vitamin D from the sun and enjoy your favorite bands or hear a new one – or two!! Remember: They all play “original” songs that someone wrote or – quick – before AI takes over writing all of our new songs!
.
Our Vice-President Dr. Annette Cannon reminded us that this is Disability Awareness Month. Not all “disabled” people have mobility issues but that also does not mean their brain isn’t working. Board Member Johnnie Johnson who runs non-profit Innervision works with “disabled” musicians and is constantly looking for places for them to perform. If your venue would like to put on a show of some great musicians, let him know! Innervision3@msn.com
