Sadly, Ms. Ana Rock has informed us that her scheduled “A Masquerade for Charity: Pop Divas Night with Tributes to Lady Gaga, P!nk and Madonna” has had to be postponed until a future date. She will let us know when that re-schedule happens!

To quote a famous ex-president: “Hey! I’m not kidding!” We are in dire need of funds to support this organization. The costs of internet services, phone, mail, insurance, etc., are staggering, and all of us are volunteers who want to help YOU to succeed in the Business of Music. Go to our website, click on the button “Join COMBO” and please sign up with your dues. Pretty darn inexpensive for all the services you get. Https://www.coloradomusic.org

Although not known at all for “his” music, Robert Redford, who passed away this weeks tarred (along with Paul Newman) in two movies that featured some of the best-ever songs: Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head (written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David) from Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid, and all those marvelous Scott Joplin rags (as played and scored by Marvin Hamlisch) from The Sting. Mr. Redford also started the Sundance Film Festival which will be moving to Boulder next year and who knows how many more wonderful songs will come from those movies!
