During this Month of Pride, let’s focus on all our wonderful LGTBQ+ musicians who grace us with their beautiful music, concerts, movie musicals, and Broadway musicals. Our lives would be so dull and boring without them sharing their genius with us. We are encouraged to “Love One Another” without prejudice, racism, misogyny, bigotry, xenophoia, or other forms of hate. You just might be missing out on the best friend of your life if you let a tiny bit of hate into your thinking! I know my family and I have best friends that are gifts from above and we love them dearly. Our lives are so enriched by their love, kindness, forgiveness, and understanding of our short-comings!

Here’s wishing a VERY Happy Father’s Day to the fathers in our group! In honor of this day, I’ve added the lyrics to the best Father’s Day song ever written – The Leader of the Band by the late Colorado resident musician Dan Fogelberg. Very touching song, and so heart-felt.
