Several of you have mentioned that the photos in the newsletter are not coming through clearly. After talking to [you], I think that this is an “individual” problem: different computers, different servers, etc. I would recommend that you just go directly to our website to check out the articles and the photos, and see if they are easier to read. Also, be sure to scroll down so you don’t miss any news or information you may need. Our “Front Page” does not always show all the newsletter articles for that week! Https://www.coloradomusic.org

Our sincerest condolences to our Catholic friends, neighbors, relatives, and fellow musicians and anyone who cared on the death of beloved Pope Francis. Somewhere, in the back of my mind, I remembered hearing that Pope Francis loved music. So I did a search and, sure enough! I found a really good article AND Pope Francis’ “playlist.” Look for the info in a separate article below.

COMBO Member J.J. Fraser writes: I am honored to have a long-time friend named Dave Shelton who has a marvelous music house outside of Idaho Springs, plus an even longer-time friend named Mike Nile, who in addition to being a great musician, is also now a video producer! Anyway, I was invited up to do some tunes in Shelton Manor, and I invite you to join us in this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/oPCIdG-APPk?si=6JmvtX1UgGOR2gMd
