Guests have been the late, great Barry Fey (whose book “Back Stage Past” is on our list of books you need to read); the current talent buyer for AEG Presents Chuck Morris; guitarist and songwriter of Firefall Jock Bartley; bass player for Sugar Loaf and writer of “Green Eyed Lady” Bob Webber; Rachel Alena on how to get a job doing voice overs, Leigh West Alan on music supervision (people who pick songs for movies, commercials, and television show); Erica Brown on her own personal journey from ‘low paid worker’ to winner of the International Blues Competition; Tony Mason, Doug Tackett, and Chris Thomas on what booking agents/talent buyers are looking for; David Barber on proper etiquette for bands when playing a show and author of the book “Gigging – Everything you need to know about playing gigs (except how to play your axe)”; Dr. Stan Soocher, J.D., on the many lawsuits the Beatles faced when they started making money, and author of many books including “Baby You’re a Rich Man: Suing the Beatles for Fun and Profit”, Storm Gloor, teacher at UCD, on basics you need to know about the business of music; Dick Weissman, singer, composer, banjo player, teacher and author of at least 17 music-related books including “The Music Never Stops: A Journey with the Unknown, the Forgotten, the Rich and the Famous” (he co-founded The Journeymen with John Phillips and Scott McKenzie in 1961), and so many, many others.
