Gayle King, CBS Mornings, had a wonderful interview with Jelly Roll (a/k/a Jason Bradley DeFord) after his big night at the CMAs. Mr. Roll, in case you don’t know, didn’t have the best of childhoods and even went to jail for awhile (Johnny Cash, Meryl Haggard – we’re thinking of you). His big acceptance speech shouted out the kids in juvenile detention centers because he wanted to encourage them to change their lives as he eventually did his. Here’s the interview:
