As many of you know, I (Barb) am a huge fan of the talent shows on television (American Idol, America’s Got Talent, The Voice, Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, and locally Celebrity Sidekick) so I was absolutely THRILLED to hear American Idol contestant Emmy Russell (Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter) sing an Ingrid Andress song – “Breaking More Hearts Than Mine”! Ingrid is a Nashville transplant via Highlands Ranch, CO. She’s been nominated for several Grammys so there is hope for all you Colorado songwriters out there yet!
