Interesting Bits|

Since COMBO has several members from Adams City High, we thought they might be able to help out with memorabilia! From ToniJean Kile on Facebook: Hi, Everyone! I am the new theater teacher at Adams City, and my Mom graduated from ACHS in 1976 [TerriLynn Carlson (Serratore)]. When the high school moved to the new building, much of the theater history was lost. Most schools have a running history of what shows have been performed over the years, but sadly there is no such record for a school that is over 100 years old. Only one set of yearbooks were moved to the new building, however, much to the dismay of building and district leadership alike, that set seems to have disappeared.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
A. If you or your family members have yearbooks from years spent at Adams City High School that are collecting dust, please consider donating them back to the building.

B. If you are not willing to part with your yearbooks (I know I wouldn’t be), take a few moments to flip to the the theater sections, snap some pictures of those pages, and send them my way. You can send images to my school email: tkile@adams14.org or pm me on Facebook Messenger.

The ACHS Thespian Troupe #284 has set a goal of creating a history wall within the arts wing or lobby of the theater that will reflect the rich history of the program and its adventures over the years. The troupe would like to have a big reveal before the closing of the final performance of the winter musical, which will take place at the beginning of March, to celebrate Theater in Our Schools Month.

Thank you for allowing me to join the group, and for the support of our young Thespians who are striving to breathe new life into the theater program!
