Amy Whitesell & George Whitesell’s A Music Company presents Blues On The Mesa at Gold Hill Mesa Park, 142 South Raven Mine Drive, Colorado Springs 80905 (south Colorado Springs, off of Cimarron). Performing bands are King Solomon Hicks, Lionel Young Band, Bob Margolin with Delta Sonics, Hazel Miller & The Collective, and Mojomama!
The event starts at 11:00 and ends at 6:00 p.m., is free, and family friendly! There will also be a youth stage to perk the musical interest of your young one! Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and it sounds like maybe umbrellas, according to the weather service, with the possibility of light rain off and on.
COMBO (the Colorado Music Business Organization) will be a co-sponsor along with lots more including the city, breweries, distilleries, cider companies, wineries, and other types of liquor distributors. There will also be a silent auction and to make sure you are up-to-date on your COVID shots and other health issues, a mini-health fair.
And to satisfy your hungry tooth, lots of food trucks will be supporting as well!
