Kurt Cobain was a guitarist and the lead singer of the influential ’90s rock band Nirvana. In 1994, he allegedly took his own life. Cobain did not create a will, but his daughter, Francis Bean, and wife, Courtney Love, inherited percentages of his estate, which has an estimated value of $450 million.
Cobain’s daughter, who inherited 37% of his assets, also has the rights to his image. In 2010, his wife reportedly forfeited those rights when she asked to take out a loan from her daughter’s trust fund.
