Unsung Hero is out now everywhere! Denver artist Teresa Suydam just dropped Unsung Hero, a five-song concept EP that retells an Anishinaabe creation story through modern pop. The project follows the muskrat, the humble creature who saved the Earth after a great flood. Each character is voiced by a distinct instrument, a nod to Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf.

Suydam celebrates the release on Thursday, September 24 (6:00 – 8:00 p.m.) at Arvada Community Room, 7601 Grandview Ave, Arvada, CO 80002, with a community gathering featuring lore stations for each song and the premiere of a gapless animated short by Rnotte.
