PH Fam Making it Happen
Congratulations! It’s a bouncing baby screamer! PH Fam, meet metal band Pearl Clutcher, a graduate of our PH Client Band program, about to take their first steps into the world with their first gig on July 31.
Sure, we participated in the incubation of this crew – notably PH Faculty Tyler (known as Sensei) who was instrumental in finding the personnel, and PH Faculty Connor, who coached and took on a number of roles at a variety of times (metal drumming, anyone?) But the real credit goes to this band of merry thrashers itself, who have taken every concept from performance to songwriting to business management, and RUN with it. They are dynamic, committed, and independent. And we know they are going to go so very far, and melt so very many faces.
Congratulations and best of luck to Ashley, Tristan, Nikhil, Tanner, and Brian. Check them out this Friday at Sunshine Studios, where they will open for Æthraxia (also featuring PH Faculty Tanner Morrison!) And follow them on Instagram for more exciting announcements.

Speaking of water parks, there’s nothing more exciting than executing a big old reverse gainer off the high dive, right? So in the spirit of adrenaline rushes, here’s Adrienne with this week’s Quick Tip on flipping! To be fair, she’s talking about the yodeling type, but we’re not way off base in our comparison here: both flips require releasing into weightlessness, consistent movement and follow through, and a wee bit of courage. Although if you don’t land our kind of flip, you will merely be red in the face, not in the belly. No pain, no gain, right?
