The Bosque Arts Center, located in Clifton, Tx is currently accepting entries for our Texas Troubadour Songwriters contest to be held October 24, 2026 in Clifton, Texas. Entries may be submitted through September 3, 2026. This monetary contest, with amounts of $1500, $1000 and $500, is judged by a nationally known country singer/songwriter. This year, we have nationally known recording artist Lacy J. Dalton as our judge.

Lacy J. Dalton – TX Troubadour
We are pleased to announce that Lacy J. Dalton will serve as headliner and judge for the 13th Annual Texas Troubadour Songwriter Classic on October 24.
The singer/songwriter known for recording the hits “16th Avenue,” “Takin’ It Easy,” and “Crazy Blue Eyes” (two of which she co-wrote) will judge the Song of the Year category from digital entries, then select her favorite performer for the Texas Troubadour award at the live event.
Deadline for entering both parts of the contest is September 3, 2026.
