For more than 25 years, the Summer Sunday Festivals presented by Broomfield Council on the Arts & Humanities (BCAH) have transformed the historic Brunner Farmhouse and Gardens into one of Broomfield’s most beloved summer traditions.
These free, family-friendly festivals invite residents and visitors alike to gather for live music, interactive arts experiences, local food, and an atmosphere centered on creativity, connection, and community.
WHEN: June 14, July 12, August 2
WHERE: Brunner Farmhouse and Gardens: 640 Main St., Broomfield 80020
$$$: Free admission; $5 donation per family gratefully accepted
DESCRIPTION: Each festival begins at 4 p.m. with special featured regional artists, performances like instrumental live music off the back porch, and an energetic mix of activities for all ages, including artisan and community vendor booths, face painting, balloon artists, lawn games, and the popular Instrument Petting Zoo hosted by the Broomfield Symphony Orchestra.
Guests are encouraged to stroll the gardens, explore local creatives and businesses, and enjoy an evening designed to celebrate the arts in an accessible and welcoming way.
As the sun begins to set, the farmhouse porch becomes the stage for live outdoor concerts from 6–8 p.m., with a different featured band bringing its own unique sound to each event.
Festivalgoers can also enjoy a variety of food trucks and refreshments, including the ever-popular Kona Ice. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and settle in for a relaxed summer evening filled with music, art, food, and family fun.
