Be part of a performance that turns imagination into something unforgettable.
A Story Comes to Life
At the heart of this performance is Gael’s Musical Express, a brand-new work created through Sing Me a Story: an inspiring initiative that transforms children’s original stories into original musical compositions.
Composed by Ryan Kilgroe of the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music, this piece will be performed in honor of Gael and the story Gael has written, making this a moment you won’t experience anywhere else.
We’re also proud to feature our 2026 Young Artist Competition winner, Timothy Dombrowski (pictured right/above), performing live with the band as he is awarded this year’s $5,000 prize.
Additionally, the rest of the program is also filled with vivid, story-driven works, from the magic of Harry Potter to the timeless charm of Peter and the Wolf.
