By Brian Linder, Penn Live | Fans of the Eagles got some bad news this week after Don Henley, the group’s last remaining founing member, told “CBS Sunday Morning” that 2026 will likely be the final year for the legendary band.

“I think this will probably be it,” Henley said in the interview according to Ultimate Classic Rock. “I feel like were getting toward the end, and that will be fine, too.”

The iconic group currently has a string of shows slated for the Sphere in Las Vegas that runs through March, and another show scheduled for May 2 at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

Ultimate Classic Rock reported that Henley was asked if he thought 2026 would be the band’s final year.

“I think so, yeah,” he replied. “And I am OK with that.”
