We generally think of this time of the year as very joyous, not only for “Christians” but for so many other people of the world who found some way to celebrate the change of the seasons. Therefore, no need for haters ‘cause everyone said, “Hey! Let’s celebrate!” But if you’re one of the “Blue Christmas” people (shout out to KOSI for playing Elvis’ “Blue Christmas” for me!), don’t hesitate to call a friend who will listen to you, a relative who makes you happy, or even an old classmate that you haven’t talked to for awhile. It will cheer both you and them. And if you’re really, really, REALLY blue, don’t forget there’s plenty of help at the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 or if you want to discuss, call 888-628-9454 for Spanish. Veteran/singer/ songwriter/musician friend Troy Hoss: This is a very real problem: 22 Veterans a day surrender to their demons. #SuicideAwareness | Call Veteran’s Hotline: 988 #1 or 844-647-1354 and from Jock Bartley: CANADA opened a US toll-free number for the LGBTQ+ community to theirs… so our citizens can get help anytime, at no cost: 1-877-330-6366. Kindness & empathy have no borders (our Administration cancelled this service for Americans).
