By Wilson Beese, KUSA – 9 News | A historic Denver theater that has been empty for decades will reopen this weekend. The Federal Theatre originally opened in 1923 as a movie house but has mostly sat vacant since the 1970s. The theater, located at 3830 N. Federal Blvd., will reopen with free concerts scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
