[COMBO Editor’s note: My own father and a good, long-time family friend had Parkinson’s. It is truly a devastating disease. First they lost the use of their legs, then their arms, then their vocal chords to where they could no longer talk. But their brains were still working – although they could not communicate well. Let’s hope the researchers find a cure soon. Eternal THANKS to Michael J. Fox for donating so much of his money to combat the disease. The medical care he has been receiving, some experimental, has extended his life for so much longer than the average Parkinson’s Disease sufferer.]
