What a weird week for music and musicians!!! An AI generated band and its songs top the charts (they’re not even real!); the government is canceling musicians’ visas so they can’t entertain in the United States – even though some of them have been coming here for years; more of our beloved musicians and music creators have made their journey over that heavenly bridge; and more of our favorite music festivals have bit the dust for various reasons but lack of funding is a serious problem. Just about the time you think that the music business is reaching stability, the bottom drops out unexpectedly with new rules & regulations – which is what COMBO tries to keep you up on.

Reminder: COMBO Member Sam Golgoon’s Indie Muisc Alliance, a sort of “Angie’s List” for musicians, is up and running. Check it out and join now – it’s free – at https://www.indiemusicalliance.com
