By Tag 4 News | Jazz with a star cast, served with a dash of charm and plenty of nonchalance – thanks to Hollywood star Jeff Goldblum. We know him from the “Jurassic Park” movies, but here we see him ditching dinosaurs in favour of jazz, celebrating his love of the piano and swing in his new album “Still Blooming”.
He gives us nine tracks with the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra – this time with prominent support from Hollywood.
From small gigs in his native Pittsburgh to Broadway evenings with jazz musicians and film appearances on the piano, everything fell into place, Goldblum told dpa.
“My career, so-called in music, has just surprised me. I don’t know if I would have expected it, and I didn’t plan for it,” he says. “It wasn’t a career that I strategized for or attempted to accomplish.”
