DeeJ Johnson writes: I wrote a song for Dougie G’s. It has been such a huge part of our lives these past 10 years. I’ll never forget all the Halloween parties, the Valentine Dinners, the St. Patty’s gigs and all the birthday parties. We had Big Hair night, Bling Thing events, 60’s music on the last set one-night years ago, and all the Colo-Country Music Hall of Fame events on the Dougie G’s stage. I’ll never forget. Please join us for our last performance under the Dougie G Banner this Friday night. 7-11 pm. The most fun you’ll have with your boots on! Thank you, Dougie! Words & Music by Deejay, Chuck Lettes Steel Guitar, Mark Jenkins background vocals. Cool slide show on her Fb page! https://www.facebook.com/dianedeejJohnson

Lori Clayton and Chris Dellinger wrote a couple of nice memoriams for local vocalist Brian Still, and Troy Benns wrote one for Greg Steinman. See them under the Notable Musicians Deaths section. Our sincerest condolences to the family and friend of both young musicians.
