(You might know Robert from his last band, the Mile High Groove Band). Robert Dunn: Merry Christmas to most but a nightmare for my sister and family in Nebraska. [On December 18, 2024] Yesterday morning (12/18/24) at 4:00 AM, their home burned to the ground. Mark is in the hospital, Patty and my Dad were out of town visiting family in Oregon. They lost everything including my dad’s dog Charley and Patty’s dog. I am sharing this GoFundMe link in case anyone out there would be generous enough to donate a little to try to help them out with this devastating fire.
Thank you

Update from Patty Brown on January 2, 2025:
Yesterday, we had the last of insurance adjusters and fire inspector. This is a huge relief! It has been the most difficult and stressful time of my life!
Mark is out of the hospital and doing well.
Ollie, our 1 furbaby that did not perish is starting to realize his life has totally changed. He still won’t eat at times and wanders around just lost without the other dogs.
Very little can be saved, since we had to wait so long on adjusters, more of the ceilings have collapsed and destroyed more items that may have been salvageable in the basement.
The floors have weakened and are dangerous to walk on.
I am still in disbelief that everything we own is gone. I struggle to keep positive and move forward.
The donations are wonderful and we are so thankful for everyone’s support. We have been able to purchase work clothes, boots, coats, and a bigger bed! Please continue to pray and join us for a fundraiser Pizza Hut has going on January 9th 11am to 7:30 pm. There are many items for the silent auction that were donated from businesses / friends / family!
Will update next week
With love,
Patty Brown

This GoFundMe is for Patty Brown and Mark Brown, whose home was destroyed by fire on the morning of 12/18/2024 in McCook, Nebraska. They lost their beloved little dog Zoey in the fire, as well as Patty’s dad’s dog Charlie.
This is so devastating for them as they owned this home for 33 years and have a lifetime of memories there. Thank you for any help you can give.
Patty and Dad were in Oregon visiting family when this happened. Patty has the suitcase of clothes she has for travel, Mark had no clothes except for what he went to the hospital in. Your help in this tragic situation during the holidays is paramount. All gifts wrapped for their grandkids were destroyed.
Thank you so much! We love you all!
