Congratulations to Kyndle Wylde and her band for winning CBS Morning News’ mix-tape music competition. Musicians were asked to submit their version of the song “I Can See Clearly Now” (by Johnny Mathis) and there were some WOW submissions which were voted on by the viewing public! Kyndle grew up in Memphis but now is a resident of Nashville. She and her band regularly play at a club in Nashville on Friday nights. Kyndle comes from a gospel musical family and her version was really soulful and powerful at the same time. The band’s performance will be featured in several new promos for the news show, not only in visuals but with the song playing in the background! CBS Mornings features Gayle King, Tony Dukopil, and Nate Ferguson.
Kyndle’s big blue eyes and dark hard reminds one of Katy Perry!
