The Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame (CCMHOF) has announced their annual awards
ceremony taking place at Dougie G’s Lounge (in the VFW building) at 10237 Quivas Street,
Thornton/Northglenn on Sunday, August 25 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Drinks available in the lounge
and a food truck will be stationed outside for your hunger cravings!
The celebration is open to all ages. They will also be inducting 10 individuals into the Hall of Fame. These musicians have been playing professional Country Music for 20 years of more continuously. (We did make some exceptions for the Covid shut down).
Cost is $10 per person (some children free). The Jim Hyatt Band will be performing and adding
great music to the presentation. DeeJay Johnson will host the show.
Awards will be presented in the following categories:
• Female Vocalist
• Male Vocalist
• Instrumentalist
• Song Writer
• Band of the Year
• Entertainer of the Year
• Video of the Year
• Venue of the Year
• Event of the Year
The Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation. The organization
is operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, and to promote, support
and preserve the history, culture and legacy of country music.
AND they will be presenting special awards to all the participants in the Ladies of Country Music All Star Showcase! This show was held last March and was a huge success for the Hall of Fame.
