You may have noticed that we did not run a Songwriting Contest this year so we were disappointed that we would not be able to give away – as a Grand Prize – an entry to the Durango Songwriters Expo worth $450! But Jim said, “We’d be glad to offer an entry anyway!” So here’s the deal: For everyone that joins COMBO and pays their dues or a previous member who renews their dues by Saturday, September 7th , we will throw those names into a hat for a drawing for the entry at our Board Meeting on Sunday, September 8th. We will notify the winner on Monday, September 9th! Just go to https://www.coloradomusic.org and hit the “Join COMBO” button!
The Durango Songwriters Expo will be held Thursday, October 3rd, thru Saturday, October 5th, 2024, at the Omni Interlocken Hotel & Resort in Broomfield, Colorado. We’re hoping to sponsor a Meet & Greet on Wednesday night, October 2nd at the hotel.
Previous winners have been Gary Dean Smith, Steve Law, Robert Hojoboom, Dustin Adams, Connor Lipke (2019), Amanda Harras (2019), Michael Hossler (2023), Michelle Roderick (2018), and Willie Hammond.
