(Poster by Nick Summers) COMBO is going to be presenting a Grammy Watch Party on Sunday, Feb. 4th starting at 6:00 p.m.! We’ll be holding it in Odde’s (Oh-Dee’s) private backroom known as the “Speakeasy”! They have a great sound system and a BIG projection screen TV! Odde’s is located at 9975 North Wadsworth, Westminster, CO. They have full food service, we’ll have our own private bar and, since it’s a restaurant, we can have ALL AGES attend!
Nick Summers, their booking agent, is on our board and we all jumped at his offer to hold it there. We’ve also held our Songwriting Contest Winners Showcase at Odde’s so we KNOW it will be the perfect venue to hold our party. Since Odde’s is in the corner of a very large shopping center, there is also plenty of FREE parking available! And, of course, it will be free to attend!
We’ll have some drawings for door prizes as well. Please dress up (if you’d like – the Board ladies are going to) or “come as you are”! The more the merrier! We’ve also invited Colorado members of “The Academy of Recording Arts” so now’s your chance to meet those actual voting members.
BTW, we want to congratulate Greg Garrison of the band Mighty Poplar for his banjo-playing Grammy Nomination!
