Photo: Michael Grimm | By Hollie Beale, Daily Express / MSN | Michael Grimm, the blues musician who won season five of America’s Got Talent, has been “unconscious” since Memorial Day due to a battle with a mystery health issue. The musician is “sedated and in intensive care”, says his wife Lucie Zolcerva-Grimm.
Lucie took to Instagram on Tuesday to update fans on her husband’s condition in an emotional video, confirming that Michael remains “unconscious” but is finally breathing on his own again.
However, Michael has been left with “no voice” so will need to undergo vocal cord repair due to the time he spent on a ventilator.
Lucie revealed the cause of Michael’s health issues is currently a mystery.
