Photo: Corvina Graham | Come enjoy the Band, under the direction of Jacinda Bouton, in a program of music selections that will ebb and flow with the theme of water. Plus, this concert is also where we present the winner of our 45th Annual Young Artist Competition Corvina Graham.
A senior at D’Evelyn H.S, Corvina will be awarded a $3000 scholarship toward her collegate musical studies and is our featured soloist. She is an extremely talented flutist who will amaze you in our final formal concert of the year with her rendition of the “Carmen Fantasy for Flute & Band”, a grade 5-6 flute solo. Other awards and recognitions Corvina has earned are: 1st Chair Flute, All State Band 2022- 2023; 1st Place, Colorado Flute Association Honors Competition 2021-2022; Principal Flute, All State Orchestra 2023 Winner; and Denver Young Artist Orchestra Competition 2021.
