Six bands competed on September 17th for the big prize of $5,000 in Glendale’s Battle of the Bands. The winner was Crooked Rugs from Fort Collins, CO. Creating a unique blend of psych and classic western rock, The Crooked Rugs pull from many genres and influences to create a one-of-a-kind sound that transcends decades. The group is formed by members Jayce Haley, brothers Finn and Rex Stowers, Jay LaCavalier, and Nolan Brumbach. The Rugs are known for their DIY recording, ecstatic live shows, and never-ending work ethic.

Second place went to Satellite 13, Suitable Miss garnered Third, and Fan Favorite went to Earl Nelson & The Company.
Infinity Park Stadium in Glendale, Colorado, hosted the 4th Annual Throwdown Showdown Battle of the Bands. Fans in attendance voted for their favorite band through QR code scanning technology. The fan favorite won a $500 cash prize.
